The Co-operative Fairtrade Organic Malbec Reserve 2009
This was the first reserve red wine to be launched into the Co-operative’s Fairtrade range and is the result of the talents of La Riojana’s head winemaker Rodolfo Griguol. It is made from 100% organic Malbec grapes, partly aged in American oak barrels. Plum and raspberry aromas are complemented with hints of vanilla and tobacco and lead to a full, rich and complex palate with good fruit concentration and balancing oak integration.

Serving Suggestion

An excellent choice to match with a nice piece of steak, savoury tomato-based pasta dishes or a selection of hard cheeses.
